No. It prints only the payee, date, amount and amount in words onto genuine cheque leaves issued by your bank. It never prints MICR lines, signatures or blank cheques.
Any bank: templates are measured against your actual leaf. Any printer that can feed a cheque leaf works; inkjet and laser printers with a manual feed tray are most common.
Account numbers are encrypted, every action is recorded in a tamper-evident audit log, and emails and SMS never contain payees or amounts.
